Meet Sarah Williams

Sarah Williams is a San Francisco, Bay Area based designer with a deep commitment to quality, creativity, and the art of transformation. She began her career studying Real Estate in 2005, developing an early understanding of how thoughtful design can enhance both experience and value. When the 2008 recession hit, she redirected her creative energy toward event planning, earning a Certificate in Meeting & Event Planning from San Francisco State University and launching her own event planning business in 2013.

After years of designing memorable events, Sarah’s passion for interiors and real estate came full circle. She merged her experience in design, staging, and business strategy to found Bay Gold Staging and Design in 2019, a firm recognized for elevating Bay Area properties through timeless, market-driven design. Under her leadership, Bay Gold became synonymous with quality, professionalism, and modern elegance.

In 2024, Sarah sold Bay Gold Staging and Design, marking a natural evolution from large-scale staging to a more personalized, boutique practice - Sarah Williams Design - focused on residential interiors, investment flips, and bespoke events that weave together her background in real estate, interiors, and event design.

Sarah earned her Interior Design Certification from The New York Institute of Art and Design (NYIAD), her Home Staging Resource (HSR) Certification, and has completed MasterClass with Kelly Wearstler. Her mission centers on quality, professionalism, and timeless yet current design, creating spaces and experiences that feel both artful and authentic.
